I'm still voting for the six month hibernation idea though. xxAmanda Jenningshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13317132727508732448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012440754742949049.post-9816796169805621002012-03-28T20:23:36.440+01:002012-03-28T20:23:36.440+01:00Having been up 3/4 times in the night for the last...Having been up 3/4 times in the night for the last 10 days with a shouting 2 year old I almost cried when I found out it was time lose while you snooze.....One precious hour sucked into the void.

It was that morning that I added Proplus to my shopping list...I find it works best with a double espresso and a red bull chaser.Sarah Mileshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04653120797013525958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012440754742949049.post-682316831356264212012-03-27T10:15:04.194+01:002012-03-27T10:15:04.194+01:00Anne, yes, a vital point I missed from my post!! I'm ALWAYS having some minor heart failure over is-it-isn't-it the right or wrong time and I traditionally spend half the year with the car clock an hour behind because I have no idea how to change it. It saves me a job in October anyway?!! It does all seem a lot of hassle really... ;-)Amanda Jenningshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13317132727508732448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012440754742949049.post-40911578950351231782012-03-27T10:09:30.224+01:002012-03-27T10:09:30.224+01:00No-one repays the time it takes to reset all the c...No-one repays the time it takes to reset all the clocks which don't reset themselves. And don't we always miss one and have heart failure because we got the time an hour wrong at some critical juncture?? It's usually my watch that gets forgotten... or the car clock...Anne Warehamhttp://annewareham.veddw.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012440754742949049.post-9964752241555731442012-03-27T08:22:02.469+01:002012-03-27T08:22:02.469+01:00Heated tractors, exactly! But you're absolutely right, it was a system put in place for farmers, but modern technology has stepped in and provided. Just like we can buy bread in supermarkets and shove clothes in the washing machine no longer need to get up at dawn to knead dough and mangle laundry. (Shudders at the thought).Amanda Jenningshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13317132727508732448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012440754742949049.post-40888392235158904852012-03-27T07:48:15.432+01:002012-03-27T07:48:15.432+01:00I had never thought of it that way. If it is a ban...I had never thought of it that way. If it is a bank, maybe British Summertime is a sleep tax and Winter is our dividend payout?

I have also decided to stop fighting sleep. Coffee and me don't get on. I had a run in with it years ago and we haven't spoken since!! If the body tells us we must sleep, who are we to argue. If we argued with our bodies, we would be arguing with ourselves which is similar to talking to yourself, which as we all know is the first sign of insanity! By sleeping you are reducing the need for mental hospitals, thus allowing doctors to have shorter work days, get more sleep themselves and reducing the NHS wage bill all at the same time.

I agree with you that an hours less sleep is an inconvenience. It was introduced for farmersm to produce more food in the First World War. Nowadays tractors have headlights, heating and music, surely they can work late and we can sleep normally?Edward Plunket-Checkemianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02701804990881141859noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012440754742949049.post-39106239945654359412012-03-26T21:44:42.501+01:002012-03-26T21:44:42.501+01:00But doesn't that dormouse look UNBELIEVEABLY c...But doesn't that dormouse look UNBELIEVEABLY comfy and happy!! ;-))Amanda Jenningshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13317132727508732448noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2012440754742949049.post-4584730011748424492012-03-26T12:56:36.356+01:002012-03-26T12:56:36.356+01:00I am so much in debt to my RBS I actually look lik...I am so much in debt to my RBS I actually look like the dormouse!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
